MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA: Plenary will soon welcome Richard Burley to its Melbourne office after over three and a half years working with Plenary in Canada.

Richard joined Plenary in 2013 and worked as Vice President, Project Delivery, leading the design, construction and facilities management of projects in Canada and the US.

To work from Plenary’s Melbourne office, Richard will retain responsibility for securing and delivering public private partnerships from project bid phase through to construction and the transition to operations.

Plenary Group Chief Operating Officer Glenn Hay said with more than 20 years of experience in the industry, Richard will bring a wealth of knowledge to the Australian team.

“It will be great to have Richard’s skillset in Australia, where we can all learn from his experience in the North American market,” Mr Hay said.

“The close relationship between Plenary’s Australian, Canadian and US offices allow us to capitalise on the skills and expertise of our people from all countries in which we operate.”

Richard comes to Melbourne after recent success in both the bid phases, and managing the construction phases of the C$250 million Okanagan Correctional Centre in British Columbia and the C$120 million Swift Current Long Term Care Centre in Saskatchewan.

Richard officially joins the Melbourne team in early October.
