About Asia Pacific

We are Asia Pacific’s largest public-private partnership (PPP) firm, boasting a team of more than 100 specialists helping to deliver or manage public infrastructure in the areas of transport, health, education, water and defence.

First established in Melbourne in 2004, we now also have offices in Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide, as well as a consultancy in Singapore.

Our Australian PPP portfolio consists of 14 projects worth more than A$15 billion, part of our portfolio of 47 projects worth more than A$32 billion across Australia, Canada and the US.

We are known for delivering some of the most iconic PPP projects in Australia, such as the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre, Gold Coast Light Rail and the Australian Government’s Single LEAP 2 project.

The success we have achieved in our core PPP business has allowed us to grow our asset management capability, and our delivery and asset management team is now responsible for providing asset management services to an additional 18 infrastructure assets across Australia, including Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney and Peninsula Link in Melbourne.

Plenary and CDPQ

In 2016 one of Canada’s leading institutional investors Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ) acquired a 20 per cent stake in Plenary’s Australian business.

CDPQ is a long-standing partner of Plenary, having invested more than A$200 million in seven Plenary projects since 2012, including the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre.

Its investment in our business is a vote-of-confidence in our approach to active asset management and long-term investment.

With CDPQ as an investor we have the additional capital to pursue the major public infrastructure projects expected to be undertaken in Australia in the years ahead.
