Early Win Secures Foothold for Plenary in Growing US Market
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – Plenary Roads Denver has been selected as Preferred Proponent for Colorado’s US 36 Managed Lanes project. The project is the state’s first Public‐Private Partnership and Plenary Group’s first win in the US, securing an important foothold for the company in the growing US market. The project is expected to create hundreds of local construction jobs, as road works are undertaken on the US36.
“On behalf of all of our consortium partners, we are pleased to be selected as the preferred proponent for the US 36 project”, said Dale Bonner, Chairman on Plenary Group USA. “We now look forward to working as partners with the Colorado Department of Transportation, the High‐Performance Transportation Enterprise (HPTE) and other stakeholders to complete the procurement process and deliver this important infrastructure asset in a timely and efficient manner.”
This is an important milestone for Plenary Group’s continuing expansion in the US. The company also recently appointed Dale Bonner, California’s former Secretary of Business, Transportation and Housing, as Chairman of Plenary Group USA. “We are honored to have this early opportunity to begin helping public agencies address critical infrastructure needs across the United State”, said Bonner.
Plenary Roads Denver is a consortium of Plenary Group, Granite Construction, Ames Construction, HDR, Transfield Services and Goldman Sachs.
